As is the case with the rest of this website, consider the below paragraph a sneak-peak of what to expect on the first weekend of June 2027!

When reflecting on what I wanted our guests to know about our relationship, I'm drawn back to the summer before the proposal. If you were to ask me how I felt during this time, my emotional state can be best described as riddled with nerves and doing my best to prepare for what I now consider to be the best day of my life. With the ring in my pocket and surrounded by family, I stuttered through my prepared speech and asked the best person I know if she'll marry me. I'm honored that Ally, this beautiful, smart, kind person; has agreed to spend the rest of her life with me. From September 2025 to June 2027, I know that initial thrill of 'what might be?' has been and will continue to build into the excitement, joy and safety of 'what will be.' I'm very excited to celebrate us and share this special moment with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story!

- Lucas

Lucas and I met in early 2020. We planned to spend spring break working as much as we could at our college gym, taking all the same shifts together. Surprisingly, right before spring break week, I was flying home and Lucas was moving off-campus during a very uncertain global pandemic. In the Houston airport, I called Lucas, despite his intense dislike for phone calls, because I knew we had something special that I wasn't going to let go of just because we couldn't see each other. We spent 96 hours on the phone together (I counted) between March and May of 2020. It was easy to fall in love with Lucas; he's caring, smart, funny, empathetic, and overall a really good person. I feel immensely lucky and special that I get to spend the rest of my life loving and being loved by Lucas. I can't wait to celebrate a life time of love with all of you!
